The Solace Springs
Welcome Wagon
You made it to the Welcome Wagon!
Which means you’re officially one of my people!
This is a quiet little corner of Solace Springs, created for readers who want more than just the finished story. The Welcome Wagon is a bit like someone turning up at your door with a basket full of things you didn’t know you needed… but are very happy to have.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing a collection of lovely extras — character teasers, cosy recipe cards, printable romance quote postcards, and even a bonus story to ease you in and make you feel part of the Solace Springs community.
So take your time, have a look around, and settle in. You’re very welcome here.
Meet the Locals
Solace Springs is full of people who feel like they’ve always been there. Basically, the kinds of people who know more than they say, show up when it matters, and somehow become part of your story too.
This is your chance to get to know them a little better. The habits, the quirks, the things they’d never put on paper themselves.
Solace Springs Recipes
There’s something about small towns and good food that just goes together.
These are the kinds of recipes that belong in Solace Springs, passed between neighbours or quietly made for someone who needs a little looking after.
You’re very welcome to take them into your own kitchen.
Printable Postcards
Here you'll find a set of printable postcards you can slip into a book, leave somewhere to be found, or actually post! Sometimes it’s nice to say something properly, even if it’s just a few words.
Some lean romantic, some are for the people who feel like home in a different way. They’re designed to feel like something you’d pick up in a little lakeside shop. Enjoy!
Bonus Chapter
The Book Club Sleepover
Book club sleepover + spicy romance novel + actual boat captain boyfriend = the most entertaining (and mortifying) night of Luke Rhodes' life.
A bonus scene from that follows the events of The Cherry Blossom Boathouse, featuring all your favorite Solace Springs characters, too much wine, and questionable maritime safety regulations thanks to the book club’s focus: Hot Harbor Captain: A Spicy Maritime Romance.

Play Sims 4? Download Solace Springs lots!
If you’ve ever wanted to wander through Solace Springs rather than just read about it, I’ve started bringing it to life in The Sims 4. Inspired by The Cherry Blossom Boathouse, I’ve tried to recreate the boathouses along with a first version of the high street, so you can get a feel for the town beyond the page.
I’ll be adding more over time, including characters, little details, and places you’ll recognise (and a few you won’t… yet). If you play, you can download the builds from the Gallery by searching my EA ID LauraBloom and explore it in your own way.
